Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP5MPL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATP5MPL data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher ATP5MPL Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP5MPL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM and BLCA are the cancer types where ATP5MPL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
