Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP5ME mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATP5ME data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher ATP5ME mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP5ME expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and CCRCC show a favorable association.
LUAD, HNSC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where ATP5ME mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
