Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP4B RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ATP4B data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher ATP4B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP4B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LUAD show a favorable association.
LUSC, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where ATP4B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
