Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP2C1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ATP2C1 data layer compared with 8 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher ATP2C1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP2C1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and HNSC show a favorable association.
MESO, KIRC, and PAAD are the cancer types where ATP2C1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
