Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP2B1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATP2B1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher ATP2B1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP2B1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and GBM show a favorable association.
CCRCC, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where ATP2B1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
