Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP2A2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATP2A2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher ATP2A2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP2A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LSCC show a favorable association.
CCRCC, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where ATP2A2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
