Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP1B4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ATP1B4 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ATP1B4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP1B4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and SCLC show a favorable association.

HNSC, DLBC, and BLCA are the cancer types where ATP1B4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
