Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP1B1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATP1B1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ATP1B1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP1B1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and UCEC show a favorable association.

HNSC, CCRCC, and UCEC are the cancer types where ATP1B1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
