Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP13A2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATP13A2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher ATP13A2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP13A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and HNSC show a favorable association.
LSCC, GBM, and LUAD are the cancer types where ATP13A2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
