Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATG9A RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ATG9A data layer compared with 8 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher ATG9A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATG9A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and THYM show a favorable association.

ACC, MESO, and LIHC are the cancer types where ATG9A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
