Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATG9A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATG9A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher ATG9A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATG9A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
LUAD, PAAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where ATG9A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
