Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATG7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATG7 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher ATG7 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATG7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM and UCEC are the cancer types where ATG7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
