Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATF4P2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 2 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ATF4P2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where ATF4P2 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ATF4P2 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as STAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
STAD and KIRC are the cancer types where ATF4P2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
