Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATF1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher ATF1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, LUAD, and ACC are the cancer types where ATF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
