Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ASTL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ASTL data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher ASTL Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ASTL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and UCEC show a favorable association.
PRAD, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where ASTL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
