Across TCGA patient cohorts, ASNS protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 17,306 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ASNS-associated genes across cancer lineages are GARS1, CHAC1, and PSAT1. Each is linked with ASNS in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ASNS-to-partner and partner-to-ASNS results are reported.
