Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ASH1L mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ASH1L data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher ASH1L mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ASH1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and UCEC show a favorable association.

LSCC, OV, and UCEC are the cancer types where ASH1L mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
