Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ARSL mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ARSL data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ARSL mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ARSL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and UCEC show a favorable association.

HNSC, UCEC, and GBM are the cancer types where ARSL mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
