Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ARPC5L RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 14 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ARPC5L’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where ARPC5L RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ARPC5L is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.

COAD, LIHC, and LUAD are the cancer types where ARPC5L tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
