Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ARHGEF34P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 10 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ARHGEF34P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where ARHGEF34P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ARHGEF34P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and KIRC show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, KIRC, and BLCA are the cancer types where ARHGEF34P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
