Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ARHGEF28 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 12 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ARHGEF28’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where ARHGEF28 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ARHGEF28 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and UCEC show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where ARHGEF28 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
