AREG

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, AREG mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 265 significant associations in total. SKCM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible AREG-associated genes across cancer lineages are RTN3, DAD1, and RNU6-1284P. Each is linked with AREG in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both AREG-to-partner and partner-to-AREG results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, RTN3 grouped by AREG-low versus AREG-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (AREG→partner) and Y-score (partner→AREG) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
