Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AR mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AR data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher AR mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC, CCRCC, and LSCC are the cancer types where AR mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
