Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AQP3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AQP3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher AQP3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AQP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, UCEC, and BRCA are the cancer types where AQP3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
