Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AQP12B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AQP12B data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher AQP12B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AQP12B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and SKCM are the cancer types where AQP12B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
