Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AQP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AQP1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher AQP1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AQP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LUSC, SKCM, and COAD are the cancer types where AQP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
