Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, APTR RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated APTR data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher APTR RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated APTR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and LUAD show a favorable association.
KIRC, LGG, and KICH are the cancer types where APTR RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
