Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, APPL2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated APPL2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher APPL2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated APPL2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where APPL2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
