Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, APOOP1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated APOOP1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher APOOP1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated APOOP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and KIRP show a favorable association.

DLBC, BLCA, and STAD are the cancer types where APOOP1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
