APOL1

RNA expression — cross-omics
Cross-omicsRNA → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, APOL1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 16,353 significant associations in total. UVM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible APOL1-associated genes across cancer lineages are GBP1, APOL3, and GBP4. Each is linked with APOL1 in more than 33 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both APOL1-to-partner and partner-to-APOL1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, APOL1 versus GBP1 in SKCM, with a Pearson correlation of 0.83.

RNA expression associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (APOL1→partner) and Y-score (partner→APOL1) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
