APOL1

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, APOL1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,919 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible APOL1-associated genes across cancer lineages are FCAR, FCGR3B, and PPBP. Each is linked with APOL1 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both APOL1-to-partner and partner-to-APOL1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, APOL1 versus FCAR in COAD, with a Pearson correlation of 0.38.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (APOL1→partner) and Y-score (partner→APOL1) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
