Across TCGA cell cohorts, APOE RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,752 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible APOE-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Triglyceride-rich lipoprotein particle remodeling, Very-low-density lipoprotein particle remodeling, and Chylomicron remnant clearance. Each is linked with APOE in more than 17 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both APOE-to-partner and partner-to-APOE results are reported.
