Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, APOBEC3A mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 118 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible APOBEC3A-associated genes across cancer lineages are HMGN2P16, KRT16P5, and MIR6075. Each is linked with APOBEC3A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both APOBEC3A-to-partner and partner-to-APOBEC3A results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, HMGN2P16 grouped by APOBEC3A-low versus APOBEC3A-high in UCEC.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (APOBEC3A→partner) and Y-score (partner→APOBEC3A) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
