Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, APOA1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated APOA1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher APOA1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated APOA1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

KICH, SCLC, and LIHC are the cancer types where APOA1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
