Across TCGA cell cohorts, APLN RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,363 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible APLN-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Apelin receptor signaling pathway, Peptidyl-lysine oxidation, and Positive regulation of G protein-coupled receptor internalization. Each is linked with APLN in more than 16 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both APLN-to-partner and partner-to-APLN results are reported.
