Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, APH1A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated APH1A data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher APH1A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated APH1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM show a favorable association.

HNSC, CCRCC, and GBM are the cancer types where APH1A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
