Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AP3S1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AP3S1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher AP3S1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AP3S1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM and UCEC are the cancer types where AP3S1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
