Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AP3M1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AP3M1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher AP3M1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AP3M1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRP, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where AP3M1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
