Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AP2B1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AP2B1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher AP2B1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AP2B1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and LUAD show a favorable association.

LSCC, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where AP2B1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
