Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AP1S3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AP1S3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher AP1S3 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AP1S3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.
COAD are the cancer types where AP1S3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
