Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AP1S2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AP1S2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher AP1S2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AP1S2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, STAD, and CESC are the cancer types where AP1S2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
