Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AP1S1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AP1S1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher AP1S1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AP1S1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

COAD, LSCC, and UCEC are the cancer types where AP1S1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
