Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANXA9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANXA9 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher ANXA9 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANXA9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
LIHC, COAD, and LGG are the cancer types where ANXA9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
