Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANO9 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANO9 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ANO9 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANO9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC show a favorable association.
HNSC and PDAC are the cancer types where ANO9 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
