Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANO6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANO6 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher ANO6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANO6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.
LIHC, CESC, and PRAD are the cancer types where ANO6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
