Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANO5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANO5 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ANO5 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANO5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.
UCEC, HNSC, and COAD are the cancer types where ANO5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
