Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANO4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ANO4 data layer compared with 10 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher ANO4 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANO4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and UCS show a favorable association.
UVM, KIRC, and STAD are the cancer types where ANO4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
