Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANKRD54 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANKRD54 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher ANKRD54 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANKRD54 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and GBM show a favorable association.

LSCC, LUAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where ANKRD54 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
