Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANKRD44 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANKRD44 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher ANKRD44 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANKRD44 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and PDAC show a favorable association.

COAD, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where ANKRD44 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
