Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANKRD40 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANKRD40 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher ANKRD40 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANKRD40 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD are the cancer types where ANKRD40 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
